The reason I keep my torts locked up.

This walks past the end of my garden, several times a day and we were about 3 meters away.

Ooooh that's a bit of a worry! I bet he would like to get at your birds too.

I don't know if it was him but one of them had one of our chickens a few years back. She survived with a lot of stitching, antibiotics and money. Lucky we came home when we did.

Oh yes, I remember that. It was like a blood bath in your garden. Lucky that she survived!
I've got anti-tunnel skirts around the chicken run, guinea-pig runs and the tort enclosures. I always bring the torts in at night but as you show in that photo, foxes are about in the daytime too, especially when hungry.

Indeed, I would too, they are very cheeky and will try anything.

since our local council gave us wheelie bins i expected the fox population to drop, nothing of the sort, still around every night.
its the two legged predators i am more concerned about.

We have cctv too, anything or anyone steals our torts we'll know who or what and hopefully stop them before they get away.

We get them all the time in the front but they never come in the back as the dogs have free run into the garden.
I was sat in the lounge the other day and looked out and there was a stag muntjac stood in the middle of the lawn.
