female Leopard tortoise- scotland

PLEASE READ THE REHOMING RULES BEFORE CONTACTING ME

We have a 9 year old female leopard tortoise for rehoming based on the south west coast of scotland
The tortoise is a much loved pet, purchased for her son 9 years ago. Pet shop gave incorrect advise and they never knew she would grow this large
She has bad pyramiding due to incorrect diet. She is approx 12 inches

If you wish to take on this tortoise PLEASE do your research
They dont hibernate and require a large heated home ie shed which can be very expensive
You will be questioned alot.
Please contact me with information of how you would care for her, if you keep other tortoises send me pictures of how they are kept etc etc

Owner is willing to travel a little for correct home

If i let you take this tortoise on we will want updates. This tortoise must not be sold on AND MUST GO TO A FOREVER HOME!!!

What a shame, I must have missed this post first time round. She would have been a great buddy for our male Leopard, aren't leopards great, we would be heartbroken if we had to find a new home for our Hector. Out of interest do you know her weight and how she's been kept?

Unfortunately we are unable to consider any other torts at the moment because of indoor table space limitations for Hector, we do have to replace his existing table with a much larger one, outdoor space is not a problem. Its such a shame that she's not been offered a good home yet because if we had more table space we would have been delighted to be considered for her new home. Good luck in finding a home for her, they are such a gentle spirit.

Can anyone give this girl a home the owners are desperate now as the colder days are coming

We've been trying to sort out housing for a big tort but it's so busy at the moment it's taking longer than I thought :(

I personally would love to give her a home.

I don't have enough posts and i think i am a bit too far away.

I have wanted a leopard tort for ages!

We do let people with less posts rehome as long as we feel you are fit to take a tortoise on YOU WILL BE QUESTIONED ALOT or even have a house visit
