Plants (wild flower mix ) ID please

I thought I would do an experiment. I could not understand why I have so many buttercups in the garden. And as we know buttercups can be toxic , especially in any quantity for Tortoises. Beau does eat the flowers every year though but I am ahead of her this time !!

The only thing I can think of is an old wild flower mix of seeds blowing over the lawn.

So I bought a whole bag of a well known make and have added the entire contents to this pot (thinking I could plug them out as they grew).

Can anyone identify any wild flower? I must say I wont ever buy a bag again as this just confirms to me it is pointless, full of rubbish (unless you tell me otherwise based on the photo) and much easier to seed my own (weeds galore).

I see a tiny herb robert flower top right & the rest look a bit fernish?!

Quite lucky here hardly ever seem to get buttercups (plenty of daisies though!)

Which mix was it Clare? Just a general wildflower mix, or a specific mix for tortoises?

(I have seen quite a few "wildflower mixes" ) in boxes in the cheapy shops, homebargains, Aldi etc
But havent tried them as thought digitalis etc are wildflowers too & would I spot them soon enough?

I have the worst outbreak of buttercups this year, ever! Fortunately I have managed to control them in the tort area by digging up, but everywhere else is a sea of hello.

it was £8.99 well known one but cant remember the name !! I wont buy them again.

And Jan I have a theory these bags contain buttercups in the main as I have never had so many last year and this. I am actually digging the lot up from the lawn as their roots go far. I am doing long grass areas like Monty does and Beau loves them. Takes me ages to find her ..she is making little trails everywhere its so funny. CB
