Campanula
lots of campanula already flowering in B&Q I noticed. £6 for a largish sized pot. best to keep it and give it a good start by planting it out in better weather, I have a lot in the garden now which just came from a pot just like that but much smaller
|
alan are there different types of campanula as in some pots seem to last one season but I have a big pot that comes year after year or is that just 'pot' (I like it!) luck. CB

My campanula has leaves year round and flowers through spring-autumn. It's easy to take cuttings from and I've poked it into gaps in a wall in the garden and it's taken well and is spreading, which makes it a bit prettier plus more food for the torts. :-)

Must get some more of this. Jerry loves it and absolutely demolished the ones I bought and planted last year.

oh ok that all sounds good. I will try cutting and planting in the garden under a cloche. I tis so pretty and the flowers seems to last ages. Visit to B& Q - Monty says you can never have enough plants but he probably has a mansion house someone to house them all. CB

A very pretty plant. I get a lot of mine from the house plant section in Homebase when they are reduced. I have found its very hard to actually kill it off. It thrives in any conditions. |
I need to remember to keep some, in places my torts can't get at! I find they demolish the lot! Toying with the idea of fencing off certain sections this year and moving the fencing round to give areas chance to recover, sprout again!

I actually popped down to my local B&Q to get some today..Just a fiver down here, Alan
