Really happy that the spring has brought out tons of weeds in the garden. I haven't been on a 'weed walk' for a few years and long may it continue as I'm unable to go searching too far!
On the menu today: https://i.imgur.com/iYHDkJe.jpg Cat's Ear, Smooth and Prickly Sowthistle, Nipplewort, White Clover, Ribwort Plantain, Wild Geranium, Dandelion and Campanula (which I picked after the photo and was too busy to do another one with it in!) The Poached Egg plant is going to be in flower very soon. It has got huge. https://i.imgur.com/mtjL1L1.jpg https://i.imgur.com/53U5NiN.jpg Last year at the start of its short season of flowering. It produces masses of flowers but they don't last for long. https://i.imgur.com/Zm1L5BB.jpg The weed patch https://i.imgur.com/aGCMX1Z.jpg?1 The Lavatera and Evening Primrose seeds have been sown today and the Buddleia is looking promising for another good show this year and something else usually pops up to surprise me. The Lavatera just kept producing more and more flowers for weeks on end last summer so hoping for more of the same this year. https://i.imgur.com/eWHQiXw.jpg https://i.imgur.com/ejtBcmf.jpg https://i.imgur.com/QtzxFXz.jpg Little glimpse into my torties life of pampering. |

they look amazing emma, isn't it so nice suns out , warmth on face and flowers coming out with butterflies in the air, I must admit I always think once the dandelion clocks starting flying hot days are on the way CB

It has been lovely - nice and warm but not baking. Perfect weather for gardening and I’ve been doing loads of it. I love butterflies but my son loathes them, moths and any flying beastie. I keep him well away from the buddleia!

yes there is something lovely about butterflies. I like solar ones too ! I don't mind moths either (though that flipping film put me off - was it Silence of the lambs ttttthhheeee- watched in Thailand on some remote island and couldn't sleep for weeks, CB
