Dio i put substrate on the top layer of my tortoise Table?
 

Hi i am making my tortoise table it is going to have a second layer do i put substrate on the top layer swell as the bottom or just some sort of turf.?

I think its up to you what you want to put on the top layer, but if it was me id put some kind of substrate yeh, maybe the same as you got in the rest of your table x

On my top layer I have the same substrate as the rest of the table, also the food slate and the humid hide.

it is entirely up to you just so long as your torts are happy likkle babes

the top layer in my table has a slate floor and i use it as a feeding area,there is also a water dish on it too :)
