They dont take long Emma.
The bottom one is an egg tooth which I knew came off but I never knew it covered the whole beak so today I have learned something.
I will put up a picture of all of them when those who are coming out are out which at the moment much to my amazement is most of them.

Emma the answer to your question is they are quite social and tend not to fight. And from putting the egg in the incubator and if female they lay at 7-8 weeks old.

If you can load that video clip I sent you please do as I cant.:)

That’s really interesting about the egg tooth.
You’ll have lots more quails in about 3 months or so then or do you separate them?
I love the colour variations.

A lady I know in Somerset has an amazing budgie aviary with quail on the floor.

I’m not sure if I can do the video. I have just had a quick try but it wouldn’t work. Not sure if it’d need uploading to a host site and then copy the code for forums?
I’ll see what I can do but don’t bank on it. ;-)
