Hi Ant.
The clover is white clover and perfectly fine. The blue/purple flower is Campanula and again, both leaves and flowers are edible and safe. The white bindweed is fine, as is the nipplewort in the photo below it. As for the others I can't identify at a quick glance without my flower books to refer to but I'm sure someone else will be able to help. In the meantime you at least have some nice edibles for Percy. :-) |
Thanks Emma, that's a lot straight away off the bat that is safe :)

Here he is tucking in already

Brilliant! Always nice to know you have a few you can learn to identify as safe to feed. He looks like he's enjoying them. :-)

You've got Aquilegia growing by the fence. A Sedum (large rubbery looking leaves about to flower), Yellow Corydalis, and a Forget Me Not that has flowered and turning to seed towards the end, plus a Bramble/Blackberry.
Not is any order I'm afraid but you can cross-reference with the Tortoise Table's descriptions. |
Thanks :)
He's just had a bit of sedum |
Looks like sedum telephenium which is ok.
The yellow corydalis is a not feed I'm sure. The blue flowered campanula is a favorite with my tortoises. All told quite a lot of food there Scrooge. The prickly one is a bramble and I think can be offered occasionally. |
Percy is so adorable. He should be in commercials, ( nice ones ) , CB

Thanks Ozric and Cherry :)
