How to make more interesting?
Recently built this for a new arrival - but I have always wondered how to make smaller tables / enclosures more interesting. Partitioning actually takes up a lot of space and it very quickly gets cluttered. How do people achieve "interesting" spaces for indoor enclosures? He put himself there, not me.

I recon you could get a rope ladder and a zip wire in there:-):-)
All joking aside if you decorate it you are really only doing it for yourself as a tort wont care either way, what you have is fine the only thing i would put in are some stones |
I wouldn't have the water bowl under the lamp. For one it will evaporate very quickly, two the rising water will cause moisture in the fitting and three, if the tort wants to bask he has to sit in water, counter productive if you are trying to warm up and four if he is climbing out of the bowl and upends himself he will be directly under the lamp, not a good position to be upside down in.

Agree with Gordon, a few pebbles and bits of slate, would be good

Does it not just dive over the edge of that top bit? I think it's probably interesting enough as it is

Yeah - he took a dive off the unprotected edge of the "mezzanine" - landed fine, walked right back up and did it again - like a kid on a slide! I have now "blocked" that bit of fun for him though as it would end badly in the end. A friend also gave me a bit of glass which I have used on the front after a slight mod. Thanks - I'll move the water
