Anyone any idea how you get private messages . I can't open mine for some reason

I don't know what it can be, I just clicked on mine and it worked okay. Have you tried different browsers?

Have you still got the box ticked to Enable Private Messages? You can access it through UserCP link. Otherwise a Moderator should be able to access your set up page and see what needs ticking on that page.

I can't do anything like that, only an Administrator can do it

And for info Naturalis, your PM's are active on your account. No idea why you can't access them, it's nothing this end.
