scales

I was looking to get some new scales for the tortoises (thought I really should stop using the same ones I use in the kitchen, even if I do clean them after...)

Wondered what you think of these, I like that they have a bowel so hopefully make it a bit easier... (and it is 18cm wide so should do till they are nearly fully grown...)

Looks good as it does 1g graduations and can't beat the discount

Yeah it is nice and cheap, and accurate enough... will give them a go I think...

Uhh? how do you wash them with the LCD and battery section all in one?

Hmm good question... for the tortoises a quick spray and wipe should do... could be waterproof though...

Should be, Misha who is the biggest is only 12.5cm and the scales are 18cm...

Ok if not i put a small plant pot upside down in mine zero it then sit them on that works a treat :):)

Ah that's a clever plan... they do like to try and walk off...

I weigh my tortoises upside down, i have flat digital scales, if i put them on the right way up they will move and i wont get an accurate reading x
