Whats its shell length?? Personally i would say female :) if its over 6 inches (15cms)

sherri 17-01-2012 12:23 PM

yes its over 6inch

TBH123 17-01-2012 12:26 PM

i would personally say that its a girl as my female has anal scutes like that and a similar tail and she weighs 1545 grams and shes laid her 1st set of eggs....maybe post these pics and a few more in the I'D and sexing section :) Get an overall pic of the plastron so u can see the size of the tail comparedf to the tort :D I would personally say a Female :D

Size can be defining, but you can get big boys. Cause could be genetic, diet... you name it.

Joe is a case in point... different species, large for a male, but 100% boy!

I'm going with Tracey on this one. If it was a smaller tortoise the scutes and tail would say male. Seeing though that she is over 6 inches and the tail hasn't gotten any bigger and the anal scutes haven't spread out, she just has a few male tendenancies. I'm going to say female :D
