How often should bulb be replaced?
 

Apologies if this information is available in other threads but I thought it was probably easier to just ask.

I have the Arcadia d3 combined UV and basking bulb. How often should these be replaced? I have had mine since I got Mabel at the end of March.

They have a formal guarantee to be upper index potent fur 12 whole months, based on 10-12 hours use a day

Hi Tatty. I think it's true to say that members of the forum who have used these lamps and have uvb meters find that these bulbs really are good for a year as John said.

Mine have been going about 4 years or more and still produce good UVB levels. Other makes have been poor, some of them useless for UVB after just 2-3 weeks but Arcadia has been good.

I have a UVB meter.
