First night sleeping outside

My 06 tortoises spent their first night outside in their new house , (it was built for them at the weekend). I was like a cat on hot bricks all night :D

Aww they are so cute :) where did you get that nice house with the door?

I remember when I first started leaving mine out at night. I'm sure lots of people will rember what a state I was in over it. Now its second nature and I think nothing of leaving them out. They are lovely tortoises and thats a really nice house.

Caroline, My husband made it for me on Sunday. Or should i say made it for them, lol....

I left the house out the first night with NO tortoises, in the rain , just to make sure it was not going to let the rain in, What am i like??? don't answer that... lol

if you made the house yourself its a well done job we always make our homes and its far cheaper and more satisfying, I can never find what I want ready made anyway

just to add we insulated ours with carpet on the walls and cork floor tiles on the roof and floor it holds the heat in most of the day.
