Male horsefield in urgent need of a home

Hi all,
I was advised to post here from a friend of rabbits united. A friend of mine has a male horsefield in need of a home. Sadly we cannot take him as we have a male already and no room for long term seperate housing. We are currently fostering him but it's not ideal and we really want to see the little fellow in a new home ASAP. He's around 4/5 we think. Very friendly and active little chap. We are based in the south east, but wiling to travel if someone can offer him a home. Please help if you can. :)

I am just setting off on the Tortoise trail and would love to offer him a home. However, I am in Suffolk and don't drive ... where are you?

We're in south London but don't mind transporting him if it's to a loving home! Have you got all the bits yet or are you still setting up?

Still setting up - but just waiting for the lighting and ready to go. (Lighting is causing me a headache and a half!) Do you have a pic of him please? What size and does he have any special requirements?

And what's his name?

If you think I may not be suited .. I came across this ... http://www.shelledwarriors.co.uk/for...light=rehoming

Whatever you feel is best for the little man

I do! I'm on my phone so not sure how to upload pics? If you message me your email or something I can send some over.
He's called Michelangelo. You may want to consider a nick name!

He's only wee, you will see in photos. He's got a lot of fast recent growth on him from his previous owner. I've been introducing him onto flowers and weeds and away from the lettuce diet he's been on. He's really friendly and active. A lovely fellow, wish we could keep him I really do.

Of course, I would still love to have him x

A picture of him would be nice :) x

Hi there, I'm currently looking to rehome a horsfield and have just been made aware of your post (thank you ditzyangeluk!!!). I'm living in Bermondsey and would love to offer him a home!

ditzyangeluk 29-05-2014 01:28 AM

Lyds, have you kept torts before? I think to save trauma and perhaps a need for an experienced owner, that you may be a more suitable owner, especially as you are nearer. So hopefully they will go with your offer

Marklmb 29-05-2014 06:16 AM

Aw. I agree with regards to saving stress through travelling. Do you have a full set up ready and have you kept torts before?

We really want him to go to a good home, most importantly to someone who is confident and knows what they are doing and who will give him a home for life.

Hope he has happily been re-homed ????

Me and my sister used to have a tortoise when we were younger, a lot of our friends have them too so we've spent a lot of time around them!

No! There was just a massive delay between my posts actually showing up on here. He needs a home ASAP but the forum interface on here is unreliable for me. Please email :)
