Is it time to reward with a strawberry?

hello i have had my 4yr old horsfield for close to 4 months now and she has done really well to eat all the new foods i have been giving her as she was just fed on crispy lettuce and carrot slices. It was tuff at first to introduce her to this new diet but she has done fantastically would it be time to reward her with a sliced up strawberry or ca you think of a healthier reward.

I give elvis who is also a horsfield the occasional bit of strawberry but not very often. He loves butter nut squash tho which might be a bit better but I'm not an expert on them still learning.

I tried mine with a quarter of a strawberry each a few weeks ago and they loved it. The other more frequent treat they have is ice plant sedum but too much of that still gives them sloppy poos. I think you'll be fine with a piece of strawberry.

Be prepared for her to turn her nose up at everything afterwards. Joe won't touch proper food if he's found wild strawberry or a windfall apple in the garden. It's only when he gets hungry a couple of days later that he'll touch the healthy stuff again.

Mine used to love butternut squash but then they went off it! Tried them with harlequinn squash once but they didnt like it. Its strange how they love something then a few months later they wont touch it! Mine loved petunias last summer but when it came to august/september it seemed they didnt like it anymore.
