Hello David
I believe it is a protozoan commonly found in the digestive system. It is common & not usually harmful. It only needs treating if tort stops eating. If you do need to treat it would be with flagyl which is only available from vets.

Hi thank you for replying Is flagyl anything like panacure

Panacur is to treat worms & can be brought over the counter/ on line. Flagyl treats protazoa's & requires a prescription.

You may have delayed postings because they wont be live time til you've posted 5 times. Answer is completely different treatments for different ailments. One is vet prescription and other over the counter.

I think don't dose up unless you know what it is or more experienced regardless otherwise it may be like taking eye drops for an stomach ache. CB
