Identification help please

Can anyone help me identify what kind of tortoise this is. I have rehomed him (or her) from someone who couldn't look after it anymore and they weren't able to tell me what kind it was and I have got no paperwork for him. Any information and advice gratefully received.

There is no image showing, I've tried to get it to be seen but not sure that Dropbox links work on here as images so had to just have them as links
