that is so sad:-(

That is so so sad, surely whoever was looking after them noticed they dont look right, any normal person should know what a tortoise or turtle should look like, its damn right cruelty, the poor things x

Much of the deformities shown are pure dietary. Have a question though the author cannot correctly identify the box turtles.

You all had a clue... right from the start.

Poor things :( Awful!!

yes its horrible but bear in mind that most of these animals weren't deliberately ill treated but had owners that were given the wrong advice and not all owners are members of forums or keep up to date with the latest care advice. We have many members who have found their way to this forum and also have animals that didn't have 'the best of starts' these animals could have ended up like those in the video. This doesn't mean that the animals weren't or aren't loved just as much and as they have such a slow growth the owner may not even have noticed things were going wrong, many simply don't see because of their love, take dogs that are far to fat, thats just as harmfull but the owner just see's it as them showing their animal love.

You shouldn't take on an exotic animal without research first

Its definately excusable to get the little things wrong, but not the basics. IMO
