Pic 9 is Aqualegia or granny's bonnets and it is not tortoise edible. This plant is also in some of the other photos.
Pics 2, 3 and 4 all have a dark leaved plant on the right side and this is a variegated Bugle and that plant is edible. Its got tannin I think in it which might put some tortoises off but it's not a toxic plant and can be fed.
The blue flower in photo no 2 looks like a spring bulb and I never feed anything out of a bulb.
Don't think you've got anything edible there apart from the thistle which is a bit prickly!!
A general rule of thumb is that ll bulbs are out - so the blue flowered bulb (chinodoxa?) should not be fed.
6. Is Primula -primrose and is do not feed 7. Field thistle - edible... but torts are only likely to touch it when it's very young and the prickles are soft. Joe ignores them. 9. Aqualegia - don't know |
pic 4 is willowherb, not toxic but not tort food. pic 1 I can't remember but isn't edible. the others are as said already
Pic 1 might be sneezewort- which isn't edible.
