Hi everyone, I'm looking for some plants that will provide shade in the outdoor enclosure. Can I ask what you you, or what your torts like to hide in? 😃

They like to hide under dwarf Hebes. If you have room, mine all like to dig under Yukkas. Also plumbago is a good shrub too. |
Heucheras!
Thymes, marjoram, carex grasses, lavendar. |
Thanks for the info, I'll see what my local garden centre have.:-D

Mine love to sit under Blue festuca grass, and it looks pretty, it's a lovely colour and it's pretty hardy, they can eat it too....although mine don't!!! ....and it self seeds easily so you will get more if you want it, but easy to remove ( not evasive). Or you could put in lavender or small hebe, but they can get quite tall , happy plant shopping!! .....

My 2 like to be in dappled shade, so use long thin grasses. Lavender is popular. that are thin

Carex is Jerry's favourite..It holds moisture for a long time after rain, so is also good for humidity.
