Lost Tortoise - Uckfield, East Sussex FOUND

We went on holiday last week and Peter was being looked after by some friends. They have had him many times before but his time he has gone missing. He was last seen in Selby Rise, Uckfield on 8th August. Our friends and ourselves have searched their garden, the Police, Pet Log and all the neighbours have been informed and i have put messages on facebook, gumtree.... anywhere i can think of. we have a £100 reward for him, hes one of the family as weve had him over 30 yrs - I've grown up with him and now my nieces and nephews are. We are all devastated. Please, can people look out for him, if they have him for whatever reason PLEASE- we just want him home safe.

That's such sad news. I hope he's found and returned home very soon.

Hope you find him... Do you think he might have been taken from the garden or escaped?

Definitely keep eyes and ears open. Have you got a photo of him for us to see?

This tortoise has been found! He wandered off but has been reunited with his owners.
