I agree, it's been such a gorgeous weekend. It's always a pleasure to sit and watch my tortoises do their thing.
I want to lay some new log roll and slate in their outside enclosure and revampe bits here and there. That's a job when the children break up from school (I work in a school) |

Hi Julia - yes the hermanni hermanni is the smaller sub species of the hermann. I have one female that is 800 gramms now but that is over ten years of growth.
The males are smaller and I have a male from 2008 who is still under 400g. Julia what does your large Ibera weigh in at? |
