Sammy having a cosy winter

We don't get many pictures of your torts over the winter, because, obviously they all tucked up, so I thought you might like to see some pics of Sammy, he's having a cosy winter upstairs in my bedroom, here he is tucking into some lunch.

Bless him, he's looking good Suze. I bet he's waiting to be reunited with Jemima. How many weeks until yours are back up?

I won't be getting the big ones up until March, but I will be keeping him away from Jemima, because I don't want her laying anymore eggs, she seems to find it more and more difficult as the years go by, and I think it's not fare to keep letting her lay eggs, she's a very old girl now. But he can have Ptolome for company.

How are all yours doing this winter ?

So lovely to see Sammy. It feels such a long time since I saw mine awake. In your bedroom too! He is spoilt, but how lovely for you.

That's a sensible decision I think Suze. I bet you'll find him wandering the garden looking for her though. Jemima deserves a nice retirement and they gave you the beautiful Phoebe. :-)

Mine are all good thanks. x
