New Tortoise
I'm after one. I already have two Leopards and five Hermann. Time for a third enclosure and a different species.
Thoughts? I really fancy an Indian Star, but they're so expensive. |
Hinge back I think or Burmese Brown

Like Jackie says hingbacks are a nice tortoise and I will have some babies later in the year.
|
I looked at some images of Hingebacks, hmmmm. Do you mind if I ask how much?

Depends if you want to hibernate the tortoise or not.
I keep both and if you want one that doesn't hibernate then I'd go for a redfoot. All mine have such great characters and are easy to care for. The Indian star is expensive but worth it. They're beautiful xx |
I don't hibernate the hibernating variety to be honest, so it wouldn't really matter really. :)

I've got 14 Hermann Hercs, plus hatchlings.. A leopard, 2 Margies , 2 bells hingeback and my very latest acquisition a Corsican Hermanni Hermanni. If you are considering Hingebacks you wouldn't be sorry.. Lovely little characters but keep your fingers out of the way when worms are involved ha ha

Hmmmm. Hingebacks it may be then. So, before I go Googling can you tell me more about them as a Tortoise? Where they are native to etc?
|
They come from Wiltshire.
