My new horsfield :)
I picked up Gladys the 9 y/o horsfield on Friday, this is us having a little cwtch :)
I'm a little worried about her shell, some patches are loose/flakey, and she has some bits of paint on her?! What does everyone think? You can't really see the flakey shell here, I'll take some better pics tomorrow :) http://www.shelledwarriors.co.uk/for...pictureid=3851 |
he looks cosy. My daughter likes to cuddle our torts but the torts dont much like it so have had to forbid snuggle times now sadly.
|
Helo, he looks good to me, his shell looks quite smooth, would like to see his face, how much does he weigh? X

Looks snug and warm!!
Mine come for a cuddle every now and then too!! Mainly with my OH who says he doesn't really like them lol!!!! But one of them always bites his chin:lol: |

Can you give us her weight & carapise (underside) length. You do this by putting a piece of paper upto some skirting board. place her on the paper & by pushing her up to a slirting board (that pushes her head in) mark the piece of paper where her shell ends with a pen. Measure that length and hey presto you know how big she is.
This weight / length will give the experts in here to give you a guide to her age. I only say this because I have just got a female H/field and she looks massive compared to yours and she is meant to be 8yrs old. Suppose I'm just curious? sue |
Width 130mm
Length 144mm Weight 7600g What's yours? |
