Moss

When I buy the Moss new it has a lovely green colour but seems to lose that lovely colour, even when kept moist. Replace or just keep re wetting?

BTW Cheapest place I have found it apart from Florists, is B&Q. £6 for a large bag of it.

Sorry, can't help much with the Moss for tortoises. My mum used to use this Moss for flower arrangements and it was always a grey/green colour. I'd guess that you can keep wetting it but if it was me I'd replace it completely fairly regularly. As I said only just got my torts so I don't really know about using the Moss for them.

Ok, then just keep moist, as it's not growing, it will change colour.
I found this out when using with my box turtles:0)

Ahhhh. Thanks chick. Useful stuff. Amazing the how the price varies from Pet Shop to a DIY store. :)
