Well I still haven't tried to post piccies with a new host site yet, may be that's my new year challenge . But one of my high lights was the building of my garden wall, the first one then the second one and the excitement of new planting to go along the wall. That's how exciting my life gets :-D

An old favourite from last year. Look at the sunshine! It wasn't that cold either.

Thanks for getting us started CB.

For the first ever year for me, Christmas wont start until I get to France. The children dont finish school until the 24th so no chance of coming here. So we will be spending our first Christmas not at home.
My daughter has just posted pictures of the south of France where my grandchildren are building a snowman. They have had at least three inchs of snow. So their area has come to a standstill, as the Provence area has no idea what to do when it snows:0)
The twins have never seen snow in a garden before, but Ryan had snow one year over here and loved it.
I hope it goes before we get there:0)

oh wow Sandy that sounds simply wonderful ! I can not believe how fast December goes with all the shopping, card writing etc so it will soon be Christmas Eve, which is my favourite time.

I hope it isn't Planes, Trains and Automobiles to France ! .....CB

Sandy - snow for Christmas, they are lucky.

I was in a hot country one year and it seemed very odd.

Like your latest CB - great beard!

By the way, did anyone see the Secret Zoo this week - torts being given Brussel sprouts and carrots. They really went for those sprouts.

Yes I remember it well!

Lots of controversy about the man on the moon and what he was up to!

You have given us a great replacement.

Love your snow angels. All those presents.

wow colder than here Jan and you are juts up the road I think. The greenhouse door froze shut and I couldn't get in so think about -2. My lot have been out snow bound in 2010 , think they said -10 degrees - its incredible. you can see how they do survive for 200 million years.

I've been on the fizz already. By the time Christmas day comes I will be on the fizzy water (which I do really like)!

I have also started too early on the Christmas eats this year, so I am hoping I wont be eating all the leftovers for days after Christmas day. I love Christmas cake, Stollen, mince pies and Christmas pudding with cream and custard!

My guilt makes me give more to charity though.

Sounds good. :-)

We've finally caught up with the rest of the world with GOT so now await the final season, which is mooted to be in 2019!
Bit of a wait so we started on Vikings Season 5. That didn't take long as we're now bang up to date and on the same episodes as the states are currently getting so back to one episode a week.
We have Outlander Seasons 2 & 3 to watch and then I saw an ad for Britannia, which looks pretty good so will try that next.
The TV was pretty shocking over Christmas, but we were ready for it with all the box sets.

I have to say, I didn't look at the tv once Ragnar was released from the cage as I'd have nightmares. Snakes are my phobia. I knew what was about to happen. Found I could watch Aelle's blood eagle though. After getting over the shock of when Ragnar did it to Jarl Borg back in season 2, I knew what to expect.

Box sets and books - good staple stuff for January. :-)
