New MBD book
 
Hi all,

You may have heard that we are to release the first in a planned series of 5 reptile and amphibian keeping books this week.

The first title is called, "The Arcadia guide to MBD and it's elimination in captivity"

We believe this to be the only book available to deal with this important subject.

It is full colour and retails at just £9.99, for us it is important that everyone can afford to get these guides rather than the inhibitive £20-30 price that is usual in our trade.

Our good friend David Alderton kindly wrote the forward of which youncan read for free here http://www.arcadia-reptile.com/guide-to-mdb/

The book will be available in all good shops and online from the end of this week.

Any outlet in the states? What are the other 4 titles?

Thanks Ross,

Yes Todd at www.lightyourreptiles.com is our official agent for US, Canada and Mexico. He will have copy very soon. I hear that he has them on offer.

They will be in all good UK reptile shops end of this week,beginning of next.

Livefoodsbypost has some Ltd ed signed copies for sale on their website with free postage.

It is available from all the usual pet/aquatic/reptile websites and on pre-order from Amazon UK and most E.U nations.

I have written copy for 2 more of the series already but I'm not spoiling the surprise!

Next one planned for Christmas time.

Yes I understand Craig is stocking it from Thursday the release day. I'm sure they will put one aside for you

Pre-ordered from Amazon.. says delivery will be Sept! :shock: I hope they've gotten that wrong.

Hi all. I couldn't wait to order this book. So I ordered via amazon at £7.99 delivered on pre order. However I to noticed that delivery was saying 5th September. When I rang and enquired they said that it was correct after double checking. They said it could be possibly sooner. However I decided to cancel and ordered from livefoodsbypost. Signed copy for the RRP price and delivered free. By the way Amazon has put the price back upto £9.99 now.

Well that's no good. The second installment will be coming out before I've even gotten the first! I think I'll cancel it from Amazon.
