Not sure how I managed, it's really easy in the summer, but when the colder months come and everyone has to be indoors they hate it and it becomes a full time job just feeding them! I have 32 now, still a lot, but manageable and I have a couple of '09 Ibera who are ready to sell, but I can't quite part with them yet!
Goldies are a bit like Rockin Horse droppings. 40 torts was a lot, how on earth did you manage them all, must have been like a mini tortoise sanctuary.
I have less than I did this time last year. I rehomed a few of my singles and extra males over the summer to give everybody else more space and me some more time. I was pushing near to 40 and it was getting ridiculous.
I do still look out for male Goldens when I am browsing the web. I'm sure you will find a mate for Dug one day!
