Hi There,
I am a recent new registrant. I have 2 matters for today.
1) I need to locate a breeder who can supply me with Grk Spur Thighed Tortoise(s) in the South East (or west at a pinch!). Any idea's?
2) I have noticed some users posting messages about garden centres selling tortoises. 2 thoughts occur a) It may be animal cruelty - flag it up with the RSPCA. b) All shops who sell animals (especially reptiles) are regulated by the local authority. Complain to the trading standards department. they are duty bound to investigate and are obliged to sent in the authority vet who may slap an enforcement notice on them. Further breaches may result in a prosecution in the magistrates court.
