Does anyone know where we could find a thermostat with a probe that goes into the substrate?
We've heard about them, but don't know where to get one from.

Thanks Ade,
do you know which one it is, because none of them seem to mention a probe?

Sorry Jess for the slow response, I have been away on hols and come back tonight to find so many posts.
Mine is a CMT025 it has a min and max dual temp display and an internal thermometer and external probe, so you can position external probe under the spot lamp and base the main unit down the cool end to monitor there.
