Hi

And welcome to this brilliant site, perhaps in future you will consider getting any other torts from a breeder, rather than from an internet shop that offers delivery, that way you can meet the breeder learn about the tortoises and see the parents etc.
But anyway your tort is a real sweetie, I hope you enjoy this site and learn all about the husbandry of tortoises.

Hello and welcome. If you had done as much research as you say you have you would know it is not desirable to purchase tortoises from internet dealers but instead to go to UK breeders where you are guaranteed a UK captive bred tort. Your tort looks lovely. :)

yes i should have gone to a breeder, rather than a n internet shop, but the shop owner is also a breeder of torts and a verry good on of that, I found it very hard to find any breeders on the net and still haveing truble as i would like male companion, i also saw pic's of there other torts, as for as posting it was'nt by royal mail but a special service with wooden box and double boxed inside, you could'nt get better treatment on Virgin airways. If anybody has a list of breeders I would love to see it sometime many thanks for your info and comments tho

There is a breeders list on the Shelled Warriors front page www.shelledwarriors.co.uk
There is also a breeders list on the Tortoise Protection Group http://pets.groups.yahoo.com/group/TortoiseProtectionGroup/database?method=reportRows&tbl=1

Lovely tort- I knew it was the tortoise shop cos nowhere else really sells adult torts and delivers.

Your bestbet is to re-home an adult male- I think there was one on TT actually, but they would need seperate enclosure and only to be put together for breeding really.
