I'm Karen, a thirty something living in Warrington, Cheshire. I live with my hubby and our two guinea pigs Bud & Stella. My family has always owned a tortoise (Florence - she's 37ish) but I want one of my own. Joined the forum to get some info and advice really - cheeky I know.

Well that was a bit quicker than expected! I was up at my mum & dad's house and mentioned (again) the 'need' for a tort, and she went and contacted a breeder and look what I got on Sunday!!!!

I've called him Dougal. He's a 4 year old Hermanns and he LOVES dandelions with a vengance.

I'm so pleased I could burst!!!!!!!!!
