Hi I'm new to the forum....

HI

Im Dieselbird... so named after one of my torts! (she thinks she's a tank!)

I've kept Torts for over 40 years with varying degrees of success and learnt a lot along the way. My saddest failure to date was losing a tort to anorexia and pneumonia - all the rest have survived!

I currently have a 12 year old female sulcata called diesel and a 35 year old male Ibera called Samson (being a typical Ibera he's scared of no one and nothing)

tHe rest of the household consists of a mad poodle, three cats and a bemused husband!

So nice to meet y'all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Such a shame to hear about your anorexic tortoise which died of pneeumonia, if you don't mind me asking, what species of tortoise was it, and how did it come to be so ill? :cry: :cry: :cry:
